Being more than 500 years old you can be sure that Trinidad has seen it all, imagine the different styles that have passed through its streets. It seems as though the beauty that once walked these many cobble stones has slowly soaked in over time. The result: an abundance of colors that in turn inspired me to wear this maxi skirt from Anthropologie. It was about time these almost floating gowns got back in fashion. One of the best things about wearing such colorful pieces is that it makes even the most plain top look chic. For me, nothing suits the crop top better than a bit of high-waisted elegance. Adding high-waisted skirts, shorts or pants simply seems right. The crop top trend is not just for summer, it follows through the whole year round.
Travel tip: if you ever find yourself in Cuba, make sure to safe some time to visit El Nicho. You will find it about half way from Cienfuegos to Trinidad. The National Park is known for its beautiful waterfalls and will surely blow your mind.
