A lot of people struggle with the winged eyeliner looks but with only a few basic steps you will find out; it is easier than it looks. Get started with a nude eyeshadow all over the lid and to create some shadow add a darker color just to the crease. If drawing a line causes you problems, try applying the liner in short strokes and as close to your eyelashes as possible. Slowly build the line until it is as thick as you want it to be. Now focus on the famous wing! I prefer to use an angled brush, to define a straight diagonal line. The line should look like an extension of your lower lash line. To soften the look I usually apply a layer of black eyeshadow on the entire wing. For the lower lash-line I prefer to counterbalance the powerful black eyeliner with a light bronze along the eye followed by a darker brown at the edge. This makes for a soft, almost invisible underline that only needs but a touch of mascara to really bring out the eyes. Normally I would put on a natural coloured lipstick to soften the look even further but to really celebrate Spring I went with a fresh flashing pink.
