Nighttime Skin-Care Routine

I always try to find a few minutes, every day, to take care of my skin! Not only when I’m wearing full make up looks but also after using only some moisturizer. Since we all want be radiant and have a perfect glowing skin, it is important to wash and cleanse before going to bed. I find it easier to stick to a specific routine, a special routine that I would like to share with you.

I’m very picky when it comes to choosing the right products. I treat my skin so that it stays healthy and for healthy skin you need healthy products like the organic products from Styx. I find it important that the products I use, to take care of my skin, contain natural and healing ingredients. Here is what I do:
First I wash my face and remove all make up with the Rose Blossom Cleansing Milk. Afterwards I use a tonic which contains natural rose water, to regenerate the skin. Once a week I like to put on a face mask as an extra treatment! The healing benefits of the Aloe Vera are well known and it is no wonder that using it in a face mask makes my skin super soft and healthy.
Whenever I wear heavy eye make up I prefer to use natural oil to remove it. Macadamia Oil easily removes even waterproof eye make up.
For my dry skin I use a very moisturizing night-cream. Rose oil purifies and regenerates skin cells and leaves your skin feeling soft when you wake up in the morning. It is easy to fall in love with the amazing smell and the fresh feeling of the eye gel! It is definitely my favorite one.
Since I have a very dry skin, moisture is essential. Some days I even add some drops of Avocado Oil to my creams for an even more intense treatment. Usually I use the oil on my hair though! Avocado oil is the perfect way to treat dry hair.

Finally for the perfect nighttime rest it is important to find a relaxing moment to unwind. Since the light coming from displays, like your mobile phone, seems to ruin your sleep I find it better to avoid it. Before I go to sleep I love to drink a cup of camomile tea while I read a book or a magazine.
