Audrey Hepburn. Funny how some names, on their own, can still be an entire sentence. A simple name that comes with so much more than just the person it refers to. Audrey’s name definitely weighs a lot. Fashion, style, beauty, charm, success and drama are only a few examples of what comes along with the Hepburn name. I would have loved to have met Audrey, but then again who wouldn’t. I often wonder what I would be like to be near such a person, a person that left her mark on the world. The National Portrait Gallery in London obviously shares my wondering. A temporary exhibition, with recently revealed photos of Audrey, is shedding some little light on what it could have been like.
For this marvelous occasion Radley London decided to release a new clutch, dedicated to the one and only Audrey Hepburn. Like I told you in my previous post, carrying this bag makes me feel a little like Audrey. For this post I set my goal; to pushing that feeling a little further. I once saw a lovely picture of Audrey, so I got inspired by her look. In the original photo you see her, in a wonderful classic outfit, cruising the city on her bike. For my modern-day-remake, I took on a little more nature and instead of Audrey’s cute dog I brought the just as cute Radley clutch (their logo is a dog after all).
