Toddling through Chicago

It was already freezing by the time I arrived in Chicago. I could barely contain my excitement as I got to marvel at one impressing building after another. Spending time in Chicago, especially this time of year, is a dream come true. Who cares if the cold tends to get unbearable? Seize the moment and dress comfy. I like building warm and cozy layers by wearing a soft cardigan, from Zara, over a checkered shirt. Putting on my most comfortable pair of pants, from J.Crew, and topping everything off with my favorite hat, from Rag&Bone. The huge hood of my Mint&Berry coat served as great protection from the icy wind. Strolling down Michigan Eve, alongside the first flakes of snow, really stirred up the Christmas feelings. Getting your gifts on the Magnificent Mile, with all its Christmas lights and decorations, makes Christmas shopping extra special. And if that wasn’t enough, I definitely got into the Christmas Spirit by watching Charles Dickens “A Christmas Carol” in the Goodman Theater, the only place to enjoy my favorite Christmas story. Snuggled up with hot chocolate and an oatmeal cookie!
