Boston Brick Road

I can’t help but feel a little like Dorothy, from the Wizard of Oz, as I follow the little brick road on my way through Boston. The path is not yellow but it does help you get around the city with relative ease. In Bostons case it’s called; “The Freedom Trail” (quite the promising name). I guess that I am off to see the city… the wonderful city of Boston.

Boston is one of the oldest cities in the USA, it was founded by english puritan settler back in 1630. Unlike most cities, on that side of the pond, it has a more European vibe about it. I happily start my plotted course following the brick tour guide and walk past the many historical sights, including the King’s Chapel, Faneuil Hall, Paul Revere House, Bunker Hill Monument, a lion, a tin man and a scarecrow.

If you manage to stay true to the brick road it will eventually lead you all the way down to the U.S.S Constitution, the oldest battleship in the States. Boston truly is wonderful a wonderful city, I wish Toto could have seen it.
