The second that we arrived at the railway station of Brighton, my best friend and I knew that this day was going to be amazing. First on our list was a cozy place for coffee and breakfast. We decided to pay a visit to the Coho Café, where we got calm and comfy seats on the upper floor, close to the window.
It is just a short walk from the breakfast café to the famous Pier and the beach. Visiting the pier and enjoying the rides made me feel like a kid again. I can definitely recommend a ride in the booster, it makes you feel like you’re falling and flying and also provides quite a great view of the sea. Since it was such a beautiful day, we decided to go for a long walk at the beach. An absolute ‘must-see’ are the little colorful beach houses. They looked so adorably cute and got us in the mood of something sweet. As a reward for the long walk we decided to treat ourself to some ice cream :-)
Besides having fun at the beach, strolling through the streets and looking at all of Brighton’s little shops where the best things we did before we started to search for something to eat. This seaside town offers a huge selection of restaurants, which made finding one almost too easy. If you want a typical english fast food dish then you should go for some fish and chips at the Pier. You should at least try it once you find yourself in England. To be honest, I’m not a fan of fried fish. I recommend to give Bill’s a shot. I thought I loved Bill’s restaurant in London, but I love the one in Brighton even more. It is big, bright and the waiters are awfully friendly. My mouth starts to water when I think of the sweet-potato fries with mayonnaise.
After we finished planning what we where going to do, I decided to wear my comfy Dungareed from Topshop, perfect for feeling even more like a young girl again! Nothing beats reliving your childhood and feeling young, wild and free again :-) We are all forced to grow up so fast, but I am glad that on a certain level, some of us never do :-)
